Nawatt Silawan & Janine Gayle Ang Cervantes & Maria Mona Lissa Dunbar
We have great opportunities for identifying resources and networking within our GMBA class alone; however, many of us lack knowledge of most of our classmates' backgrounds and experiences, let alone those of the alumni and professors. GMBA Connect can work as a platform or tool for all current students, alumni, and faculty to get to know one another. Short but explicit descriptions of personal background information will be posted on the website and GMBA newsletter. Self-presentations will be given on Monday and Wednesday evenings before core classes. GMBA Connect is a great way to learn about one other.

Nawatt Silawan (Watz) 金石雨本

Nationality: Thai

I am one of the innovators of the world 1st air-conditioner
that understands user thermal sensation (feeling hot or cold)
commercialized under the Panasonic brand in Japan in 2015.
I spent 7.5 years working as an R&D engineer with Panasonic Corporation, Japan where I filed more than 10 patents (thermal sensing, emotion & physical condition sensing, and high-power laser). I am a Thai citizen and also a permanent resident of Japan. I have lived in 3 countries for the long term including Thailand, Japan, and Taiwan. I speak fluent Thai,
Japanese and English. Being fluent in Chinese is another target during my stay in Taiwan. I joined the GMBA program to build connections, expand business knowledge, and put myself into a discomfort zone, especially to build leadership.

Maria Mona Lissa Dunbar 鄧莉莎
Nationality: Haitian
I am a Caribbean woman who is looking to expand her knowledge in the Asia-Pacific market for better opportunities. After graduating from Business Administration, I worked as a junior PR for 3 years in the entrepreneurship field in a Business Development Service program elaborated by Haiti’s government and Inter-American Development Bank. I believe entrepreneurship and network are the keys to leverage your career, hence being a GMBA candidate will assist on this goal.
