Sincee joining the GMBA community, I've pondered how I could leverage my expertise in real estate to benefit this remarkable group and foster connections among our GMBAers. Thus, whenever any of our GMBAers encounter housing challenges, I'm always eager to lend a hand. Assisting our GMBAers with their housing dilemmas has not only been rewarding in itself but has also deepened my understanding of real estate dynamics.

With the invaluable support of the GMBA office and fellow GMBAers, what began as my modest assistance evolved into a series of lectures and activities aimed at empowering our community to navigate the Taipei rental market with confidence. During these lectures, we delve into topics such as rental valuation, essential aspects to check during house inspections, and effective negotiation strategies with landlords. Importantly, these sessions fostered interactive and engaging discussions among all participants, making it a collaborative learning experience. A heartfelt round of applause is due to all involved.

Armed with newfound knowledge about leasing, we organized a mock leasing workshop at my place. I assumed the role of the deceptive landlord, while the rest of the GMBAers portrayed savvy tenants keen on uncovering any leasing pitfalls. It was immensely gratifying to witness our astute GMBAers identifying and overcoming the challenges posed by my leasing tactics. Indeed, I've never felt so happy to be outsmarted. This workshop not only allowed participants to apply their leasing learnings but also facilitated camaraderie among them.

In closing, I hope that every GMBAer embarking on the journey of leasing a house in Taipei finds their dream accommodation, knowing that the GMBA community stands ready to offer support whenever needed. My heartfelt gratitude extends to all GMBAers and faculty members whose contributions have made this Taipei rental guide an enriching experience for all involved.
