Assistantship

The GMBA program offers work-study positions to help students gain professional experience and finance their studies while supporting the GMBA Office and the College of Management’s International Affairs Office.

Assistantship Tracks

Positions are available each semester based on operational needs:

  • Teaching Assistant (TA): Support faculty with course management. [View Details]

Employment Requirement Documents
  •  All employment requirement documents must be ready by :
    • Teaching Assistant (TA): Two weeks before the first class day of each semester.
    • Administrative Assistant (AA): mid-September for fall semester or early February for spring semester.
  •  Delayed submission may result in the forfeiture of the assistantship.

     1. Identification & Work Authorization

  • Local Students: ROC ID.
  • International Students: Valid ARC & work permit.

     2. Bank Account

         Salary payments are only processed through these three banks(E.Sun BankHua Nan Bank / Post Bank).
         Please provide a copy of your bankbook cover.

Working Hour Limits
  1. Local students: Up to 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
  2. International students: Up to 20 hours per week during semesters, and 40 hours per week during vacations
Restrictions & Compliance
  • Status: Students on a leave of absence or deferred admission are ineligible.
  • External Commitments: It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that other scholarships or external jobs do not violate Taiwan’s labor laws or exceed the maximum allowable work hours.
  • Policy: The GMBA Office reserves the right to terminate the assistantship if university policies or Taiwanese laws are violated.
