Application Procedure for International Students

Global MBA application process is centralized and managed by Office of International Affairs(OIA) at National Taiwan University. Please refer to Online Application FAQ or contact OIA if you have questions regarding nationalities, eligibilities and application system. Phase I: August 1st, 2019 to November 29th, 2019
Phase II: December 1st, 2019 to February 14th, 2020

2020/2021 Online Application System, fill out the online application form, download the Declaration and Authorization Form and the Payment Form, upload all the required documents, fill in the Recommenders' Information, and confirm your submission.

Application components

Graduation Certificate
Copy of the highest degree's graduation certificate is a must. If the graduation certificate is not in Chinese or English, a Chinese or English translation is required.
 
Proof of Work Experience
To prove that applicants have at least two years of full-time working experiences.
 
Proof of English Proficiency
Proof of English proficiency can be waived for applicants who are from English-speaking countries or has gained graduation certificate from English-speaking countries (check the list below)*. For other applicants, TOEFL, IELTS, or TOEIC taken within two years of the application deadline is preferred.

Transcript
A full transcript of records aligned with the submitted graduation certificate, including the explanation of grading system are required. If the transcript is not in Chinese or English, a Chinese or English translation is a must.
 
English CV/Personal Profile

Following the instruction of application system, personal profile will be requested to upload by a separate file or to key-in over the system. A photograph in color, less than 6 months old, showing a close-up shot of the head and shoulders, and without wearing a hat will be requested as well.
 
Identification
Following application system instructions, your passport or Taiwan Alien Resident Certificate will be requested to turn in.
 
Application Essay
Essay questions are listed below. It is highly recommended that you prepare your questions and answers in an A4 size, Calibri Light 12, double-spaced format. One question per page plus a cover page with your full name.

 

1.
Please describe a situation in which others with whom you were working as a team disagree with your ideas. How did you deal with this situation? In retrospect, is there anything you would have done differently?
2.
Please describe reasons for pursuing MBA program at this point in your life? Please specifically state why you choose NTU Global MBA.
3.
Please describe your short-term and long-term career goals.  How will NTU Global MBA enable you to meet these goals?
4.
(Optional) Please provide any additional information you have not addressed elsewhere that you would like the Global MBA Admissions Committee to consider in evaluating your application?

 
Recommendation Letters
Two English or Chinese recommendation letters are required.
 
Proof of Application Fee Payment
The receipt copy of the application fee payment is required.
 
Financial Statement

A bank statement showing at least TWD200,000 (US$6,000) in savings deposit. Scholarship awardees shall provide proof of scholarship.
 
Declaration and Authorization Form
International applicants are required to send the Declaration and Authorization Form.
 
Other Materials
GMAT or GRE is strongly recommended. Any other documents that may support or highlight your candidacy are welcomed.

January 8, 2020, 4pm All applicants can log in and check aplication results online (including scholarship); admitted students should also confirm their acceptance and complete the Enrollment Survey.  
January 16, 2020, 4pm Deadline for admitted students to confirm their acceptance and the Enrollment Survey (Not Available yet).  
January 22, 2020, 4pm Waitlisted applicants can log in and check the final results online (Not Available yet).   
February 5, 2020, 4pm Deadline for waitlisted applicants who are admitted to confirm their enrollment  
March, 2020 Admission Letter will be sent
